Only a few months into their first season of contact and the team is coming together, learning their new roles.

Our first match against the Shelford A team did not go well. We started with only eight and Shelfod made the extra person show. The final result was 0 - 5.

Second match was against Biggleswade and was much more even, at full strength St Ives really came together as a team and started putting in the tackles. It was even all the way through until close to the end Biggleswade broke quickly out of ruck and ran in the only score of the match, final score 0-1.

And on to the final match. With everybody beginning to tire it was a scrappy affair, and although everybody did their best again Shelford B were just two strong.
